A home inspection is an important part of the home-buying process. Until recently, many home inspectors didn't offer radon testing or charged between $100–$150 to include a radon test with the inspection. Because of this additional cost, the majority of home buyers did not get a radon test during the inspection, and a great opportunity was missed to find out if that home’s radon levels are safe or not. The good news is that Utah Radon Services offers free tests for home inspections!
If you are a home inspector and would like to offer radon testing to your clients, we have a great program for you! We perform free radon tests for you to offer your clients as a bonus. Please contact us or give us a call at 801-871-0715 to find out how you can join us in testing homes for radon gas.
Home inspectors may either call us at 801-871-0715 or use the form below to request a test.
Please remember to perform the test with closed-house conditions for the full 48 hours the test is active. We can pick up tests after 2 business days on average. Please allow up to 1 business day to analyze the test and send you the results. Tests that come back high may include a radon mitigation proposal.
